What can't go in a dumpster
Roll-off loads end up at landfills and transfer stations that can't take hazardous or specially handled waste. Each company has its own list, so ask, but these items are almost always refused. Here's where they go instead.
Phone hours: Monday–Saturday 8am–8pm, Sunday 8am–1pm ET

Items companies often treat differently
Mattresses, box springs and large amounts of dirt, concrete or roofing can usually go in, but some companies charge more for them or want them in their own load. Mention them when you call.
Living in Indiana? HazBin is limited to Louisville and Jefferson County. Clark County households use the county facility in Charlestown, by appointment.
Book the container while it's on your mind
Say what you're clearing out, where the dumpster can sit and which day suits you. By the end of the conversation you'll know the container, the delivery morning and what you'd pay.
