The city's spring dumpster days
In spring 2025 the city set out eight dumpsters in different neighborhoods every Thursday and picked them up on Monday mornings (the city announcement). They were for household use only, with no paint, tires, appliances, TVs, concrete or bricks.
Those shared dumpsters fill quickly and only come round once. A rented roll-off works on your own schedule, any time of year, and takes the remodel debris and larger loads they can't.
